HIV and AIDS RED RIBBON MEDIA AWARD 2007

 

CALLING FOR ENTRIES

 

Radio, television and print journalists working in the local media in Kenya are invited to submit their stories for the 2007 HIV and AIDS Red Ribbon Media Award for Excellence.

 

Entries must be on HIV and AIDS and must have been published or broadcast in the local media between January 1 and December 31, 2006. The deadline for submissions is October 30, 2007 . Winners will be announced on November 29, 2007 at a ceremony in Nairobi .

 

The winner in each category will receive 1500 US dollars, and the runners up 750 US dollars .

 

The NACC is organizing this award in partnership with UNESCO as part of the Eastern and Southern Africa Media Strategy against HIV and AIDS.
